EL PRESENTE CONTINUO =Present Progressive Tense

EL PRESENTE CONTINUO:

Usamos el PRESENTE CONTINUO para expresar lo que hacemos en el momento en el que hablamos. Mira estos ejemplos.

• Yo estoy escribiendo un e-mail.
• Tú estás cantando.
• Él está haciendo los deberes.
• Nosotros estamos estudiando español.
• Ellos están conduciendo.

Es el PRESENTE CONTINUO que indica que una acción se está desarrollando en este momento.

Fíjate en la diferencia entre LOS DOS PRESENTES en español:

• Normalmente yo desayuno a las ocho / Estoy desayunando hoy a las siete.
• Normalmente yo escribo en la pizarra / Ahora estoy escribiendo una carta. 

EL PRESENTE CONTINUO

Se forma con:

        
     VERBO ESTAR + GERUNDIO

ESTOY, ESTÁS, ESTÁ, ESTAMOS, ESTÁN + LAV-ANDO / BEB-IENDO 

Para formar EL GERUNDIO:

• VERBOS –AR. Cant-ANDO, pase-ANDO, limpi-ANDO.
• VERBOS –ER /IR. Corr-IENDO, viv-IENDO, beb-IENDO.

              *Atención. Leer-LEYENDO / Ir-YENDO  / Morir-MURIENDO

EL GERUNDIO Y LOS PRONOMBRES
¡ATENCIÓN!

Los pronombres se colocan después del gerundio o antes del verbo "estar". Ambas formas son correctas.
     -ESTOY LEYÉNDOLO - LO ESTOY LEYENDO
